In inquiry-based learning, teachers design student-centered instruction so that questions are used to uncover information that can then be used to make inferences, conduct an analysis, explore options, draw logical conclusions and/or support conclusions with valid information. The primary objective of learning is to uncover answers to real-world questions, refine understanding of the information and use the information in a meaningful way.
