PROGRAM OVERVIEW
An Instructional Coach is someone who can support and encourage a growth mindset in individuals as they develop and refine practices and skills towards the implementation of technology and innovative instructional strategies in the classroom. He/She scaffolds and nurtures a teacher's professional growth through strategies such as mentoring, reflective practice, mindfulness, and collaborating. eMINTS coaching training is designed to help build and develop skills as an Instructional Coach. |
FORMAT AND CONTENT
The eMINTS Coaching Program encompasses 18 to 20 hours of face-to-face training led by eMINTS staff. Cohorts explore building professional relationships (foundational for effective coaching), honing communication skills, asking powerful questions, nurturing a growth mindset, and facilitating effective coaching conversations to support change.
