What is it?
     eMINTS Comprehensive Professional Development is
​one of three training programs worldwide 
​that has earned ISTE's Mastery Seal of Alignment! Additionally, the eMINTS Digital Age Educator Program has earned ISTE's Proficiency Seal of Alignment. See eMINTS on Edutopia for a glimpse into an eMINTS classroom.
​eMINTS National Center provides research-based professional development programs to K-20 educators. It is a non-profit organization under the auspices of the University of Missouri, College of Education. eMINTS interactive professional development sessions and in-class support visits are designed to:
  • inspire educators to use research-based instructional strategies in a technology rich environment,
  • engage students in inquiry, collaboration, and the excitement of learning,
  • enrich instruction to dramatically improve students' problem solving skills and performance in any subject area at any level.
The eMINTS acronym, enhancing Missouri's Instructional Networked Teaching Strategies, reflects the program's geographic origin. eMINTS programs, however, are now being implemented across the United States as well as in Australia. Comprehensive eMINTS materials encompass eMINTS Competencies for Digital Age Teaching and Learning.
eMINTS National Center was collaboratively developed by 
the University of Missouri, 
Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education 
and the Missouri Department of Higher Education.
