PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Prosocial and Active Learning (PAL) Classrooms PD Program puts an emphasis on developing and enhancing student social skills as they engage in authentic, real-world, problem-based learning experiences in a technology-rich learning environment. The enriched learning environments in PAL Classrooms engage students in collaboration and teamwork to solve complex problems,. This sets the foundation for continued student success and puts students on the path to being workforce ready.

FORMAT AND CONTENT
Teachers in the year long program meet in cohort groups led by eMINTS trainers for three full days over the summer and then monthly throughout the school year for professional development and collegial sharing. The eMINTS trainer will provide additional support including in-classroom coaching, virtual support, an online community of practice, and more. These support and coaching opportunities are critical in transfer of training content into classroom practice. |
