Digital-Age Educator

PROGRAM OVERVIEW
eMINTS Digital-Age Educator Program is designed for teachers to deepen their technology integration practices. It requires completion of four online PD courses which are aligned to the ISTE Educator Standards. This program has earned the ISTE Proficiency Seal of Alignment.

FORMAT AND CONTENT
The eMINTS Digital Age Educator online program consists of four of the eight 7-week, 32-contact-hour courses shown below. ​Participants have the opportunity to develop ready-to-implement plans for embracing leadership, student empowerment, and meaningful, safe technology integration. The four program courses completed for certification may be completed in any order desired, but two are required.

Required Fundamental courses: 

• ​Innovative Teacher Leaders in the Digital Age

• Digital Citizenship

One course from each category below is selected to complete two electives:

Instructional Design

• Empowering Learners with PBL
• Fostering Creativity & Innovation with Design Thinking
• Introduction to Computational Thinking 

Technology Integration

• Online Tools for Digital Age Learning
• Digital Age Learning with iPads
• Chromebooks in the Classroom

Badges are earned for each course completed with certificate and badge awarded for program completion.
