Utilizing virtual video conferencing tools such as Zoom, Skype, FaceTime, or Google Meet expand the opportunities for students to listen to or read along with someone they might not otherwise meet. You might also look up recorded versions of celebrities reading aloud, for example, https://storytimefromspace.com/. Interested in extending the literacy opportunities of this idea? Have students write a letter or email to the person they most want to have read aloud to them!
