Tip: The Challenge Phase > "Not" all at once

Our next “No” in November is “‘Not’ all at once.’”


  • Chunk your tasks. Smaller bites are more digestible. Try the Pomodoro Technique, a time management method based on 25-minute stretches of focused work broken by five-minute breaks. Longer breaks, typically 15 to 30 minutes, are taken after four consecutive work intervals.
  • Slow down. Not everything has to be done this minute. Prioritize and do what is most necessary at the moment.
  • Simplify your tasks. Work smarter, not harder. Check out the August and October tip cards for more ways to help with this!
  • Strategize what will help most. Divide and conquer.
