Another Tuesday Tip on participating in an EdChat: Use tweetdeck.twitter.com to organize, track, and streamline what you follow most, including your favorite Twitter EdChats!


  1. Log in, and view the dashboard with a list of columns. The default columns show your home timeline, mentions, and messages. You can add additional columns for specific searches, lists, or notifications.
  2. To compose a new tweet, click the "New Tweet" button in the top right corner of the dashboard. Type your tweet into the box and click "Tweet" to post it.
  3. You can interact with tweets by clicking the reply, retweet, or like buttons beneath them.
  4. To add a column, click the plus sign (+) in the top left corner of the dashboard and select the type of column you want to add. You can add a column for a specific search, user, or list.
  5. To customize your dashboard, click the gear icon in the top right corner and select "Preferences" to access settings such as theme and notification options.
