Recertification Information & Requirements

As an eMINTS Certified PD4ETS / Affiliate Trainer, you have permission to access eMINTS Professional Development materials and may provide professional development for official eMINTS teachers.

To maintain your eMINTS Affiliate Trainer / PD4ETS Certification, you must complete two activities annually*:
  1. Attend or listen to the eMINTS Affiliate Trainer Update Meeting/Webinar. (Submit a short summary of the meeting if listening to recording.) View recording of February 6, 2024 Update Meeting & access the Meeting Agenda.
  2. Complete at least one other activity/event from the list below. 
*Certification is based on the calendar year. The 2 activities submitted in a year qualify an AT for recertification for following year. 

Activity / Event
  • ​Provide remote learning support for teachers and/or students.
  • Write an article for the eMINTS newsletter.
  • Attend or present at a local, state, or national instructional technology conference. Submit documentation.*
  • Utilize elements of eMINTS Instructional Model and the eMINTS Facilitation Model as a conference presenter. Submit link to presentation materials.
  • Moderate eMINTS Educators Group on Facebook - 1 Month (Prior approval is required.)
  • Act as eMINTS Ambassador on Twitter - 1 Month (Prior approval is required.)
  • Attend and participate in staff development conference, webinar, or workshop.  Submit documentation.*
  • Organize and/or host a local educational technology conference. Submit documentation.*
  • Host an eMINTS site visit for participants from outside your district. Submit documentation.*
  • Personalize your professional learning by utilizing blogs, videos, books, social media (Facebook community of practice, Twitter chat, LinkedIn group) to hone your skills or learn something new.  Submit link to a product that showcases learning.
*Documentation includes, but is not limited to, a summary, session links,
certificate of attendance, or digital product showcasing your takeaways.
After you complete your two required recertification events (Update Meeting plus one other activity of your choice from list above), submit the activities to the eMINTS National Center using this form. ​​
