💡 Educator Tip: Assess What You Value in Learning! 🎯
When designing assessments, align them with your learning goals that come from your standards.
Consider:
1. Analyze your standards to develop the KUD Framework:
- What should students KNOW?
- What should they UNDERSTAND?
- What should they be able to DO?
2. Assessment Timeline:
- Before: Pre-assessments
- During: Formative checks
- After: Summative evaluations
3. Rubric Design:
- Reflect KUD objectives
- Clearly define success criteria
- Learner-friendly
Remember: Your assessments should mirror the skills and knowledge you truly value in your students' learning journey!
